Is it a chipmunk or squirrel?

I was sitting in my kitchen the other day and looked out the window and found this little guy hanging out around our house. I have no idea where he came from but the kids loved watching it. We found out it was here getting dog food. We gave him some nuts and seeds. It was a fun afternoon.
