Shopping day at Embu

We had a great day at Embu. I love going on Saturdays there are a lot of street vendors. The weather was great (nice and overcast). It wasn't crowded at all. The best thing about it was the pastels and sugar cane juice. I think M just might have been in heaven. We thought about just hooking him up to an ivy of sugar cane juice. Really just a great day. The kids saw there first banana tree.

Saying Good-bye to good Friends and Family

The last few weeks at home were a doozy. I think it all started with the washer. Our washer broke we bought a new one and that one broke. Third times the charm. The shut off valve for the washer broke then the main water line to the house followed. R 's starter in his car went out. He got it fixed then it went out again. The thermostat in our house broke. We all got the flu. We sold both our cars. We had to get our vacinations/immunizations. We packed up our house and said our good-byes. And some how it all worked our for the best. We are so grateful for family and friends who love and support us in this adventure. For taking care of all the little odds and ends that need some attention.
