It was spring break and the kids wanted to go to Thanksgiving Point. I love going in the spring. The kids went on a pony ride. M wasn't quite sure about it until he was off, then decided it was pretty great. J loved feeding the donkey (that is known to bite) and the huge horses. M loved feeding the ducks one kernal at a time. C loved to feed the ponies. We always hit the ice cream parlor on our way out and then go visit Grandma.

April Fool's Day
The kids really got into April Fool's Day this year. They had all sorts of funny things planned. The night before C went into the kitchen and changed all the bags of cereal into different boxes. The kids were surprised to get shredded wheat from the kix box. J put a bunch of elastics around the bar of soap and R's brush. When dad went to get ready in the morning He had a little surprise. She also put a bunch of stuff in his shoes. I had to get into all the fun so I made them a little snack. Orange drink (Jello) and peas with chicken sticks (green laffy taffy and sugar cookies with peanut butter dunked in graham crackers). Thanks family fun mag. for the idea.

Baby Names
One of the many conversations in the house is what to name the baby.... It has been quite interesting since the kids are getting older. Not only do R and I have to negotiate a name but now the kids are thrown into the mix of picking a name. This has been fun, interesting and quite comical. On our way home from finding out it is a boy we started thinking of names. The first one J comes up with is Gonner. R and I didn't think much about it until she said do you want to know why I think we should name him "Gonner" because when he gets here he is going to be a Gonner. If you can't tell J was pretty disappointed that it is a boy and not a girl. It took a few days but now she is ok with it.
Last night once again we were talking about the subject. Here are a few names that I came up with to see what they think.
Bryce....Mom there is a boy in my class named Bryce and he always has snot running down his nose that goes down to his mouth BLaaah! We can't name him Bryce
Kenyon...C comments, so mom you mean like "Can ya" come over here?

Too be continued......

Valentines day Bouquet
Valentine projects
I LOVE VALENTINES DAY! I love everything about it. I love the hearts and the colors. The projects the kids bring home from school. The construction paper hearts that we hang in our window. I love to help the kids get there
valentines ready for friends and classmates. I just love it all. I am so glad to have a daughter that loves making things as much as I do. Here are a few of the projects we made to get ready for valentines day. We invited some friends over to make valentine shirts. We also made these little ipods for her friends (idea from family fun magazine). They were a hit.
