Our life in Brazil seems like a dream. We have so many fond memories of Brazil and it is because of the people we met and the experiences we had in the year and a half we were there. Here are a few pictures of some of the people who really had an impact on our lives.
A great picture and memory of the primary children. It was fun learning the songs in Portuguese. I was so proud of my kiddos when they learned there part in Portuguese for the primary program.
Clara, Harper and J. Some friends we looked forward to seeing every Sunday.
Some of the ex-pats who lived in the ward while we were there. I don't know what we would have done without them.
They really made church manageable. Yes I said manageable. Church wasn't something we looked forward too evey week.
We really are so grateful to them for there friendships.
Thomas', Arbuckle's and Vetterli's.
Me, Elaina and Maria.
The primary presidency who always made my kids feel loved and welcome.
He was our home teacher and really went out of his way to help us out.
He brought his family with him to home teach us. It was fun to see the kids interact with each other even though they couldn't speak. They made forts and played with cars and had a great time.
R was able to go and sit in while she was being taught the first discussion. Later we were able to attend her baptism and participate in a few family home evenings with her. Her empregada was completely against joining the church and after just a few discussions she was hooked.
What can I say about the Richardson family. We truly love this family, there example and kindness will never be forgotten. They truly impacted thousands of people with there service as mission presidents. I can only hope to be like them one day.

(not sure if I spelled there name correctly)
They had us over for dinner the last night in Brazil. Gabriel (there son) was the boys teacher in primary and they loved him. He is serving a mission in Recife, Brazil.
J's 3rd grade teacher.
J loved Miss B. She really has a way of making learning fun.
Cute lady who was the 3rd grade class assistant.
