One thing about being here with each little day trip we take we have really no idea what to expect and how to prepare. The trip to the beach was great. Yeah we could have used a lot more sunscreen and brought a lot less stuff. We brought chairs, umbrellas, body boards, snacks, towels of course and money. All we really needed was money,towels, and body boards. The people at the beach provide everything else. As long as you buy food from them. It is cheap and yummy so I am sold. I am sure we stuck out like a sore thumb. With all our kids and stuff. On our way there we knew we were getting close because we kept seeing guys caring surf boards riding there bikes down the road with bare feet. It was so hot! R ,C and J loved the body boards. C little nose was so burnt it blistered and peeled. J was stung by a jellyfish while riding the waves on the body board. It hurt but she is a trooper. The kids slept on the way home. Which was probably a good thing because it was a crazy rain storm.

Those ants were awesome. Sad about the jellyfish:(, J is a brave girl. How's the portuguese coming?
