Little Swiper

The Swiper in Action

This little guy has become quite the little tease lately.

He watches and waits for any opportunity to swipe something right out from under your nose.

Here are some of his favorite things to swipe.

SHOES: If the kids are putting on their shoes he has the other one before they even know it is gone. He is usually standing there with a big grin on his face and the shoe cleverly placed behind his back.

Trash Can: Yes, it is as big as he is. After taking out the trash he loves to beat me to the trash can and swipe it . It is too big to hide behind his back so he is off and running as fast as his little body can take him while holding a trash can. I think this one cracks me up the most. I knew what was coming and I made sure the camera was ready.

Toys, Books, Games. If someone wants it, he wants to swipe it, and boy is he stealth like. I am afraid this new game is the result of approximately 20 months of being the youngest of 4 siblings and he has been a very good student!

My lucky Day

Lucky for me R left some papers at work and needed to go and get them before he left for Chile the next day. I had been wanting to find some face masks used during Carnival. We were on the way to his work when I spotted a store stockpiled with all sort of Carnival Masks. We walked throughout the whole store and found oodles of fun trinkets. Hats, costumes, fish net nylons, party supplies and masks. I started taking pictures and then heard an announcement in English that no pictures were allowed to be taken in the store. RATS! I didn't get the picture of all the masks. I did however go a little crazy and ended up STOCKPILING up for future dress-ups and gifts for the future!

This little guy will not leave the house without a ball in hand.
I cleaned out my car the other day and brought in about 8 balls.

The kiddos have been on a sushi kick lately.
We found a Japanese store and went and bought some supplies to test it out.
I attempted making sticky rice, and we were off and running. This was our final product.
It really was a fun activity to do with the family. I think the kids each had about 5 bites and called it a night.

J sporting her new head trinket.

1 Down 19 to go.

The 1st of his 20 deciduous, baby, or milk teeth is gone. I dropped C off at home I watched him walk down the hall and turn the corner to get into the elevator. He had his backpack on and a little skip in his step. I just can't believe he is old enough to start loosing his teeth. That he is old enough to be in 1st grade, and getting baptized at the end of the year! I love this little guy so much He brings my heart lots of joy!
We knew the big day was coming. With each passing day the tooth became more loose. Last friday we waited for Dad to come home and made it a family affair. I busted out the camera to get footage and got a few good shots. He was a lot calmer than I was. Loose teeth TOTALLY gross me out. How is that he would not let the dentist in his mouth to save his life but he doesn't flinch when Dad tries 3 times to tie some floss around his tooth to yank it out. YIKES!!! 3rd times the charm and it came right out.
What an exciting day!
Lucky for him the tooth fairy visits kids in Brazil. He got R$4.00.
Tooth number 2 is not far behind.

Cidade Das Criancas

Once again Carnival has come around.
R had some time off along with the kiddos.
I am really not an amusement park kind of gal but the kids wanted to go.
The weather was perfect.
We didn't have to wait in any long lines and we had a great day.

As a spectator I really wondered if they were having fun
or if they were scared to death. I got the thumbs up when the ride was over
so that was a good sign.

This airplane was one of the highlights of the day.

It was so cool. It reminded us of the airplane from the movie
Madagascar.

The car ride home and everyone was exhausted!

The H O F D L ride

The Hold On For Dear Life ride
R was laughing so hard he started crying.
We were glad to see all the kids made it in one piece.
